Offinsoman Association of USA and Canada appeals to government to assist in clearing 40-footer container of books and computers meant for donation to schools
The Offinsoman Association of USA and Canada is calling on the Minister for Education, to assist the group in clearing thousands of books meant for donation to over 45 schools.
In 2019, as part of the Offinsoman Association of USA and Canada’s support to the Government of Ghana’s Free SHS policy, the group shipped a 40-footer container of computers and other educational materials to schools in Offinso and its environs. However due to the delay in of tax exemption from the Ministry of Finance, the container went to demurrage.

The group, which is well known for contributing greatly towards education and various projects in the Offinso community, is therefore calling on government to come in and resolve the challenge.
