World-renowned bassist, artiste, music consultant, composer and producer,  Opoku Sanaa is set to release his biggest project ever – his maiden album.  The album which is almost complete, is titled “Sound Optics” and will have 10 songs all written by Opoku Sanaa himself.

“Sound Optics” contains diverse music genres ranging from the solemn classical ballads, to jumpy Hip tunes, and electronic and Afro-pop infusions to appeal to every kind of music fan who picks up the album. The album features different artistes both from Ghana and outside, with different producers working on it as well to create that optical difference in its sound.
It features wonderful and renowned musicians like Stella Damascus, Cwesi Oteng, Joe Mettle, Giovanni, Trigmatic and wonderful producers including Kaywa, Koda, Dave JLoopz and Reynolds the Gentleman.  The album is set to be released in May and it promises to give its listeners a wonderful treat to their minds and souls.
Opoku Sanaa is the founder and President of PL crew (African Gospel Music Awards Nominee) and the Bass player for the Band. He is the Head of Bass Phactory Music Consultancy which organizes the annual Bass Clinic Workshop in Ghana.  Sanaa endorses World Leading Bass Company, MTD Bass, an international bass guitar company which endorses renowned bass players such as Justin Raines (Bass Player for Israel Houghton), Robert Bubby Lewis (Bass player for Snoop Dog, Lupe Fiasco), Andrew Gouche (BassPlayer for Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Andrae Crouch, Helen Baylor) etc.
Sanaa has played for and shared stages with a lot of ghanaian and international musicians.
He performed a unique rendition of the national anthem last year at the national Presidential Ball organised by Musicians Union of Ghana(Musiga)  before the President of Ghana, President John Mahama which received the admiration of all including the President of Ghana, His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama.
He also has been much in demand for work with both foreign and local artists. Opoku Agyemang Sanaa has to his credit a number of singles which has dominated the gospel arena in the likes of “I surrender all”, “Greatest” and the mind blowing “God Can” which blew every gospel lover away because of the awesome talent exhibited by him in that composition. He has worked with most of the music giants in the country at the moment and he is one of the sort after musicians in Ghana. It’s hard to imagine anyone that embraces the joy of music more than Opoku Agyemang Sanaa.
