Pharrell & Beyoncé support Lung Transplant Charity in Urban Art Auction

In Heritage Auctions’ Nov. 6 Urban Art Auction, collectors will have the opportunity to bid on three lots donated by Beyoncé and Pharrell to benefit The Lung Transplant Project.

Pharrell Williams has donated two pairs of adidas Originals to the sale. The first is a truly unique opportunity to customize a pair of Tennis Hu x adidas Originals with Pharrell. The color will be determined by the winner’s chosen shoe size. The second is a pair of size 9 Hu NMD Friends & Family featuring Pharrell’s signature and various phrases including “Women’s Rights” and “The universe is one,” among others. “Thousands of objects pass through our hands on a regular basis,” Heritage Auctions Consignment Director Taylor Curry said. “Rarely do we get an opportunity to present lots that are interactive and make the bidder part of the creative process. The lots we are presenting with The Lung Transplant Project that ask the winning bidder to be a part of the lot is truly unique. The fact that we have the opportunity to help raise money for a fantastic organization makes it that much better.”

Beyoncé also has donated her iconic wide-brimmed black hat from The Formation World Tour. The hat is signed “All my love – Beyoncé” and estimated to fetch $1,000-$2,000.

All proceeds from the three lots will benefit The Lung Transplant Project. The organization raises awareness and donations for the life-saving research conducted to decrease transplant waiting list times and increase survival rates.
