<![CDATA[The final funeral rites for the late Rose Benson, actress Maame Serwaa’s mother, finally took place on Saturday, at Atwima Koforidua in the Ashanti Region.
Top Ghanaian actors and moviemakers showed up at the funeral ceremony to show love to the deceased. Agya Koo, Nana Ama McBrown, Bill Asamoah, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Matilda Asare, Tracey Boakye, Bishop Bernard Nyarko, Christiana Awuni, Papa Kumasi, Louisa Adinkra, Yaw Dabo, Wayoosi, and many other moviemakers were around.
Rose Benson died on December 7, 2017, leaving behind her husband and three children – two boys and a girl.
Actress Maame Serwaa is her second born. Rose Benson introduced her daughter into the movie industry when she (Serwaa) was very young.
