Today After posting up millions of streams independently and receiving acclaim from Billboard, Rap Radar, HotNewHipHop, and more, PRICE shares a new single and music video entitled “Curtis” [feat. Uplifted by simmering horns and a groove-laden beat, PRICE shows out with an instantly chantable chorus, “Looking like Curtis Mayfield on the block, between funky bars rife with quotable lyrics. In the visual, he channels classic seventies style with his cinematic fashion on point. Meanwhile, he busts a move outside by a traffic signal and paces around an empty field before Big K.R.I.T. makes a downright royal cameo with booming soulful rhymes and no shortage of his own swagger.

 

It continues a prolific year for PRICE. Billboard praised his independent project F.O.E.S. as “compelling, and Rap Radar dubbed it “introspective and powerful.Meanwhile, HotNewHipHop urged “it’s hard not to believe the talented rapper.  It boasted highlights such as “Rank” [feat. Bino Rideaux], “Issue” [feat. Vince Staples], and “Selfish” [feat. Bas & Wyclef Jean], which racked up over 1.2 million Spotify streams.

Speaking to his business acumen as an entrepreneur, he linked up his company for CLRD Entertainment with Motown to release this music. He continues to make more business moves too!
