Rapper FreQuency changes name to “Kwame Dame”

Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Nana Kwame Dame Ampofo formerly known in showbiz circles as “FreQuency” has changed his stage name to “Kwame Dame”.

According to the “Bills” rapper, the name change was as a result of his desire to use part of his birth name as his stage name.

Kwame Dame got people talking after he featured on Sarkodie’s “Biibi ba” track with 9 other young rappers.  Before then, his “Welcome to Ghana song” caught a lot of music lovers attention.

He has since been tipped to be the “next big thing”.

Kwame Dame was recently awarded by Muse Africa for the Muse Bangerz ”HipHop Song of the Quarter”.
