This has been confirmed by both Rumor and Skillions Records boss JaySo. “My deal with Skillions rec has now ended. It’s been an adventure. Thanks. Happy Valentine’s day y’all,” Rumor tweeted.
“I owe you the truth: I left Skillions rec. It was my decision and prerogative. There wasn’t a deal or an expiration of it. Now let’s push forward.”
Jayso’s reply to a tweet asking why Rumor left, suggests he wanted an exit so the label had no option than to allow him take the walk.
Rumor joined Skillions Records some four years ago and his first album #FFF (Fans, Friends and followers) was officially released in December last year.
