<![CDATA[Renaissance, a popular Ghana-based urban unisex streetwear brand, which specializes in luxury street-wear fashioned from timeless shades of colours, different shapes and nature inspired prints embarked on a giveaway and feeding project inside Agbogbloshie Accra on the 7th of October 2017.
According to Renaissance they took up the project because:
Our popular denim jacket with the African map printed on the back broke boundaries and got a lot of celebrities such as Maleek Berry, Kwame Boateng, Sarkodie, Dj julz , Reekado banks just to mention a few supporting the movement. It is was indeed Africa To The World. We therefore decided to embark on a feeding project / giveaway( Renaissance clothes) with a part of the proceeds obtained from our Africa To The World Merchandise since it played out to be a very successful release. Desires are being fed with imagination, which therefore adds value to our creative collections. Indeed a thousand miles begins with a step, consistency, lapses and endurance, if the Jewish trades among themselves why not Africa? Renaissance is a symbol of unity and hope of Africa. We all agree Rome was not built in a day that’s why we challenge our generations not to underestimate themselves irrespective of their backgrounds but rather encourage themselves with perseverance.We believe in Africa without a blemish. We appreciate our fans, our creativity is more inspired by the situation and environment we find ourselves in as Africans. We giving back to the less privileged in our society is our own small way of showing our compassion and gratitude. This is just the beginning.
