Rivals (Pusher & Max) on set, but cool guys off set- Adjetey Anang eulogises Vincent Macauley

On Friday, January, 19, 2024, Ghanaians woke up to the news of the death of one of Ghana’s finest actors, Vincent Macauley, famous for his role as “Max” in popular television series, “Things We Do For Love.”

According to reports, Vincent gave up the ghost on Monday, January 15th, 2024. The cause of his death remains unknown.

Macauley’s death has sent the film industry into mourning, especially his close pal and mate in the “Things We Do For Love” series, Adjetey Anang.

In a short tribute posted on his Instagram page, Adjetey Anang reminisced their time on set, and what a wonderful and cheerful person Macauley was.

“The tight hugs, the smile, the bulging eyes, the new words…we barely have recovered from losing Marlene (‘Lois’: your cousin in the series) and another member of the #thingswedoforlove family #vincentmacauley bids farewell,💔…not what we imagined beginning a new year…what deep pain! Widely recognized for his role in the iconic ‘Things We Do For Love’ TV show, McCauley was a prominent figure in the Ghanaian film industry. His contributions extended to various projects, including YOLO, Games People Play, Fortune Island, Office Palava, Living With Trisha: House of Secrets, and The Idiot and I. Survived by his wife, whom he married in 2017, Vincent McCauley’s legacy lives on in the hearts of fans and colleagues.
