Samini Hints At Kaakie’s Comeback To The Music Scene

Ghana’s music industry is no stranger to musicians taking breaks from the spotlight, only to return with a bang.

Renowned Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, otherwise known as  Samini, has dropped hints about a potential comeback by none other than Kaakie, a former Dancehall music sensation who took a hiatus from the music scene.

The “Too Much,” hitmaker took a prolonged break to focus on her personal life and pursue higher education abroad. However, according to Samini, the wait by her fans for her comeback might be over soon.

Speaking in a candid interview on  Adom TV‘s show “Showtym with Andy Dosty“, the ‘My Own’ singer disclosed that Kaakie currently lives in Ohio, USA, adding that he was the ghostwriter who played a pivotal role in Kaakie’s career.

“Kakie is in Ohio, I see her most times when I go there. She is talking about a comeback and  I am thinking about it because I have to do a lot of writing when that happens,” Samini stated.

Kaakie’s previous contributions to Ghana’s music landscape were undeniably significant, and her comeback would undoubtedly be met with enthusiasm.
