<![CDATA[Silverbird Cinemas, a member of Silverbird Entertainment Ghana has received another batch of students as part of its facility tour for Basic and JHS students. A group of year four students visited the Silverbird premises for an exclusive tour and movie experience. The children, accompanied by some teachers, were on the trip as part of an annual end of year treat for students of the Ghana International School. “For some years now, we usually bring our students to Silverbird towards Christmas. We have built a strong relationship with Silverbird and this is a great way to give our students a change from the load of school work. We look forward to our next visit and we entreat other schools to take advantage of this initiative”, Mrs. Ekua Sagoe, a teacher at the school who led the delegation said in an interview. Receiving the visitors, Kweku Yankson, the Marketing Manager of Silverbird Ghana, expressed his delight at having the pupils on a visit. “The Silverbird experience caters for edutainment as well, since the cinema experience holds a lot for the educational system. We are delighted to have you here to have a first-hand experience of our operations and to also to have fun. We hope other schools would follow this example, as our doors are always open”. The Silverbird Students’ Tour opened in March this year and this is the third batch of students to have been part of the exercise. The students get to use the Games Arcade, enjoy popcorn and drinks, get a lecture on the operations of the sections of the cinema and to see a movie. All of this happens between 8am and 12 noon, before regular patrons of the cinema come in.]]>
