SkynergyMD – Dermatologist developed skincare products launched in Ghana

<![CDATA[SkynergyMD, conceived by a trio of United States, Ivy League trained, board certified dermatologists is a brand concept focused on harnessing the synergistic effects of science and nature in an unprecedented cosmetics and skincare line for men and women. The launch took place at the Accra headquarters in Cantoments with top showbiz personalities and executives who flew in for the event including Nollywood icon Rita Dominic, KOD, Anita Erskine, Dentaa (MBE), Edward Kuffour, Victoria Michaels and iFactory Live founder Michael Djaba in attendance. Crafted by medical authorities on African skin, using raw materials indigenous to the African continent, this unique skin line is tailored to ethnic skin, primarily of African descent. A dynamic reflection of female African entrepreneurship, the three founding medical doctors, Dr Yvette Appiah, Dr Neh Onumah and Dr Oge Onwudiwe, spoke at the event, highlighting the various products and services  available at their medical practice in Cantoments and their website www.skynergymd.com Dr. Yvette  Appiah attended the University of Chicago, Pritzker school of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency training at the prestigious Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania.  She is the founder, co-owner and lead dermatologist in a team of 4 dermatologists at AllPhases Dermatology, LLC in Washington, D.C. Metro area.  Dr. Appiah has been in private practice for the last 16 years.   Dr. Oge Onwudiwe finished her medical school studies at the Howard University Medical School.  During her dermatology residency training at Howard University Hospital, she served as Chief resident.  Since then, she has further completed a fellowship in Lasers and Cosmetics at Harvard University Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital.  She has been a faculty member there since 2014.  Dr. Onwudiwe has worked in private practice with Dr. Appiah for the last 7 years.  Dr. Neh Onumah graduated from Temple University Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency training program at Yale New Haven Health Systems. Prior to this, She conducted research under the auspices and tutelage of one of the pioneers and great leaders of the dermatology field, Dr. Albert Kligman.  She completed a basic science research fellowship at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital and a clinical research fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, both in the specialty of dermatology. Upon completion  of her internal medicine residency, she moved on to her dermatology residency training at McGill University Health Center in Montreal, Canada.  Currently, Dr. Onumah is in private practice and is founder and medical director of Skin of All Color Dermatology, LLC, near Princeton, New Jersey.
