South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency, Grace Jeanet Mason, has commended Vodafone Ghana Foundation, for its immense contribution towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Ghana.

According to her, Vodafone Ghana Foundation through its philanthropic initiatives has demonstrated its commitment in improving the lives of Ghanaians.

“I have witnessed with great interest, the remarkable work the Vodafone Ghana Foundation has been doing. I am particularly excited about the various health initiatives, youth empowering programmes and projects that are leveraging technology to drive change. These are in no doubt supporting the country’s sustainable development”.

Speaking at an event to mark this year’s World Youth Awareness Day and Nelson Mandela Day, Ms. Grace Jeanet Mason called on corporate institutions in the country to take keen interest in Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) projects.

“I will use this opportunity to urge other organizations to do same. Making the world a better place is a collective responsibility and we all have a role to play. I am excited to volunteer for Vodafone’s health programmes and to also impact more women and the youth”, she said.
