Every great business venture starts with a great idea, and one step to begin the journey to success. For Kwame Amfo-Akonnor, it was a first step with family and friends as he invited them over to taste his ‘entree’ of delightful foods and cocktails from Bishop’s Kitchen – a restaurant concept he has hopes of opening soon.

The menu for the tasting included beef fried rice , Irwin Special Jollof, oven grilled chicken and several interesting drinks on the cocktail and wine menu. Under pressure to wow his guests, Kwame shuffled between  tables and the kitchen as he introduced his meals one after the other, with music and spoken words performances in between. There was music by MTN Hitmaker 4 winner, Kidi  and poetry by Ms. B Red.

Guest took turns to share their honest opinions on Kwame’s food and presentation. Comments ranged from the spiciness of the food to the choice of ingredients.  I loved the food from Bishop’s Kitchen – it tasted like a home-cooked food, and I can’t wait to enjoy some more when he fully opens for business in the future.
