The Challenge finalists have lunch with songstress, Becca
As part of the final preparations for The Challenge grand finale, the four finalists had lunch with the music icon Becca to relax their tensed nerves. Their lunch with Becca came as a surprise for the four finalists and it was a way of the organizers saying congrats for making it this far. Their lunch with Becca was an interactive one; the music icon was proud of the final four finalists and congratulated them for making it to the grand finale. She said she’s been a follower of The Challenge since season 1 and till date follows it because she just completed her first degree at GIMPA where she obtained a first class degree in project management and hinted that she even has plans to have her masters in Havard University. Becca talked about her upcoming girl talk show on 21st December 2012 and extended an invitation to all four finalists. She said her representation of the African woman is due to the fact that African women have always been relegated to the kitchen and even in our present time of girl child education, we still have people who think women should only be domesticated. Becca again hinted that she would one day change her name to her local name to suite her African women representation cause. Becca was asked if her music career has made her rich, she replied by saying she is comfortable with what she has as long as she can buy whatever she wants however the most important thing is that she is happy with her life right now and that is what matters to her. Before lunch time was over, Becca advised the four finalists not to give up no matter what happens at the grand finale come Friday the 14th of December, 2012. They should be proud of how far they’ve come into the competition and make the sky their limit. She wished them good luck and may the best challenger win. Be part of the grand finale this Friday the 14th December, 2012 at the College Of Physicians and Surgeons at 8pm admission is absolutely free. The Challenge is a British Council initiative proudly sponsored by Tigo, smile you’ve got tigo and supported by Databank, Vitamilk, Beige Capital, IPMC and EPP Books services.]]>
