This Throwback Thursday photo of the multiple award-winning singer, has the internet buzzing.

Dennis Nana Dwamena,  known in the entertainment industry as KiDi, recently added his voice to the ongoing brouhaha over the resurrection of “Azonto” and who owns it.

He said in an interview on Angel TV’s E-Update that if Ghanaians want Azonto to be resurrected, then there will be the need to add more dynamics and elements in order to make it bounce back.

‘Azonto’ is a dance genre from Ghana which consists of different types of Ghanaian traditional dance embodied in one element. It spread across the world and helped shape Ghana’s image on the world scene relative to music.

Few weeks ago,Rapper Sarkodie started the campaign on his social media page with the motive of reviving the Azonto genre back into the music industry but he faced diverse attacks from some colleagues in the industry.

However young artist KiDi praises himself during the interview and stated that his trending song, ‘Enjoyment’ is the biggest song in Ghana presently. He said the song has an element of Azonto which shows how versatile he is.

He even bragged that he can do Azonto songs better than those who are claiming it’s their bona fide property.
