Tic joins Shatta Wale to call out Mark Okraku Mantey for sidelining some creatives

Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Tic, formerly TicTac, has joined Shatta Wale to call out Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mark Okraku Mantey for sidelining some Ghanaian artists.

Tic’s comments come following Shatta Wale’s interview on the Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV.

In the said interview, Shatta Wale had bitterly complained about how some gatekeepers in the music industry have been sidelining him from major events and collaborations.

According to Shatta Wale, Mark Okraku Mantey and Andy Dosty, whom he mentioned as the “gatekeepers” have blocked him from major events.

“They decide for Ghana, for instance you see when Beyoncé wanted to work with me, if she had made a mistake and gone through Mark Okraku Mantey and Andy Dosty, they would have told her oh he’s an armed robber, when he touches your skin, it will be dirty,” he lamented.

Responding to Shatta Wale’s interview on Twitter, Tic, agreed to Shatta Wale’s stance and stated that Mark Okraku-Mantey was bad for the creative industry.

“The man called “Mark Okraku-Mantey” a very bad spot in our Ghanaian entertainment space. Now occupying the Deputy Minister’s seat for the creatives makes it even worse for our motherland,” he tweeted.
