Prior to Jeannette Kwakye’s participation in the 2012 Olympics as part of the British team, she won a bronze medal in 4×100 meters relay at the 2002 World Junior Championships. At the 2007 European Indoor Championships, she recorded a time of 7.17 seconds, becoming the fastest time by a British woman in the 60m since 1986.
