Vanessa Gyan to host a free baby shower for 150 expecting mothers next month.

Ghanaian media personality Vanessa Gyan who has been quiet on the media scene for some time now has revealed the next project under her maternal health initiative, ‘The Post Pregnancy Boujie Express’.

Speaking to Ameyaw TV at the concert launch of Fuse ODG’s latest album, the mother one of gave more details into the project that has taken her away from her media job.

She said: “I am working on my maternal health awareness project, The Post Pregnancy Boujee Express which I collaborate with Ridge Hospital every year. Next month we’re holding a baby shower for 150 expecting mothers so I have been working on that.”

Vanessa Gyan however called for more support on the project to assist in discharging new mothers who are stuck in hospitals due to medical bills.

When asked if she will be returning on-air soon, Vanessa hinted that the new season of her show ‘Sincerely Vee’ is almost ready and will be airing soon.

‘The Post Pregnancy Boujie Express’ maternal health campaign was launched in October 2018 at Ridge Hospital with the primary aim is to raise maternal health awareness while educating women on pre and post-natal care, raise fund towards the Ridge Hospital maternity ward.
