William Addo, told Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz that he is gradually losing his sight as a result of glaucoma and cataract. He further added in his interview that if immediate care was not sort, he would lose his sight. The story went viral and UK-based Ghanaian preacher offered to pay off the surgical bills for the actor.

Presenting the money on behalf of the preacher who could not make it to Ghana, Eyra Doe noted that it is the hope of Pastor Amoateng that the veteran actor will regain his sight after his surgery and get to live a normal life again.
Receiving the money, the elated William Addo expressed gratitude to pastor Brian Amoateng and his foundation for their support. He prayed God’s blessings of restoration on the man of God.
