Jidenna doesn’t dress like other rappers, preferring bespoke suits, club collar shirts, and a finger wave hairstyle that has a sense of Afrocentrism and is all about promoting the African culture to the world.

On his recent trip to Ghana, the ‘Classic Man’ hitmaker threw a challenge to creative African brands who want to sell their works to the international market to use his platform as he is ever willing to help promote talents from the continent.

Taking up the challenge, Ghanaian fashion brand Smully Wear designed a two-peice wear from their latest ‘El Classico’ collection for the Nigerian-American singer. Jidenna who performed at the just ended Soundcity MVP Awards in Nigerian took to stage wearing the design and shared photos on his Instagram page.


Smully Wear is a Ghanaian based fashion brand the brand is own by a young gentleman by the name Mr. Joseph Aggrey Cobbina a popularly known as Smully a graduate of Central University class of 2018
Smully wear unveiled its collection in 2017 dubbed JAC.

Smully Wear deals with an amazing range of clothes which entails corporate wears, suits, urban wear, caftans, agbada 3pieces, political suit, African prints shirt and more.
