Kwesi Arthur, Amaarae and La Meme Gang last Saturday, at the sandbox beach club in Accra, thrilled music lovers at Boiler Room x Ballantine’s True Music Africa – a musical tour that unearths true music artists and their stories of doing it for themselves in the underground music scene.
The event which was broadcast live to millions across the world also saw performances from the Shutdown king DJ Mic Smith, Iphone DJ, Quamina Mp, Kofi Mole among others.
True Music Africa shares artistes’ insights and experiences of their local music scenes via a compelling documentary series. Also, Boiler Room x Ballantine’s are committed to supporting and celebrating uncompromising artistes who do it ‘their way’.
