Ghanaian rapper Quamina made an appearance on AmeyawTV’s One-on-one show where he talked about choosing a career in music and releasing his debut hit song ‘Wiase Ye de’ featuring Kwesi Arthur and Yung C.

According to the rapper, “I actually started doing music in high school we, were just doing it for fun” until he realised “school wasn’t helping” which made him chose music full time.

Quamina recounted relocating from Mankessim in the central region to the capital city, Accra to make music full time.

“I just have to leave home and come and stay in Accra, and do what i feel I have to do,” he said.

Commenting on his debut song ‘Wiase Ye de’, the singer disclosed that his initial idea was to feature Sarkodie on the song and not Kwesi Arthur.
