Nana Addo’s speech has been trending for “lifting” speeches by President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush Jnr.
The international media has also picked up on the story, the latest being The Daily Show on Comedy Central which is hosted by Trevor Noah.
The show mocked Akufo-Addo and played the plagiarised excerpts of the speech.
