Watch: Wendy Shay walks out of live interview on Accra Fm over ‘unprofessional questions’

Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay who is currently on a media tour celebrating her 2nd Anniversary in the Ghanaian music industry has walked out of the studios of Accra Fm in anger after she was asked a question by show host Nana Romeo.
Wendy Shay as the guest was asked questions about her relationship with her boss Bullet and was not happy with the manner in which the host, Nana Romeo handled her response.

According to her, she came on the show to talk about her 2 years in the industry and promote her new song and not to talk about these silly speculations that she’s dating Bullet.

“I am not dating Bullet. I don’t know why most of the time when I go for interviews, instead of focusing on issues that will bring progress in our music industry, I get these questions … Let’s focus on my artistry, pushing my brand and Ghana music to the international level”, she told Nana Romeo.

“I’m here to promote my single and I’m celebrating two years in the industry. Let’s move to the next question,” she added.

The ‘EMERGENCY’ singer got irritated after Nana Romeo refused to allow her to move on without answering and insisted he had evidence of their relationship.

A visibly angry Wendy Shay apologized to listeners saying she wouldn’t continue the interview because of the unprofessional manner in which the interview was been conducted and walked out of the show.

Wendy Shay reacted to the incident again on her Twitter page saying:”What u ppl know is asking unprofessional questions like are u sleeping with Bullet ? R u dating Shatta? R u dating Kuami Eugene? Is that the only thing u can ask a female artiste??! I’m sick n tired of it ! GHANA WAKE UP !!”

Nana Romeo was recently in the news for sacking Kidi from his show for showing up late.
