A few months ago, Mzgee of Joyfm caught up with the “Bedroom Commando” hitmaker to ask her a few questions regarding how she wanted her fans to see her as. In the middle of the interview, the interviewer asked “Who is Wendy Shay”? Wendy Shay who seemingly got pissed with the question, told the journalist that it was a “dumb” question. She went on to cut the interview short. She has however come out to apologize and asked for pardon. “I’m only 6 months in the game. I have never being an underground artist. I just shot to fame from being a nurse. There are somethings I don’t know”. “Whatever that has happened, Ghanaians should please forgive me”, she said.
