Yungg Zues to debut ‘Love Me’, November 25
The Ghanaian singer and songwriter Yungg Zues is releasing his debut single ‘Love Me’, an afrobeats song, that goes in your ears, as well as your heart. Yungg Zues is brand new on the scene, and yet has been entwined in the Ghanaian music scene since 2013, when he founded ATL. A movement of young and creative people coming together and producing music.
Now he is ready for his debut single. ‘Love Me’, produced by Mani from Nigeria, is driven by a mid tempo beat topped with a melodic guitar, giving the afrobeats song a dreamy sound. The guitar was played by no one less but the grammy winning Joshua Moszi, who is known for his work with R2Bees, Mr Eazi or Angelique Kidjo. The song was highly inspired by the many years creating music with the ATL movement in Ghana, but it was recorded in UK, Yungg Zues current home of choice. In his heart he will always be a Ghanaian, which comes clear when listening to his uplifting and positive music.
Following the release of the single will be a music video, directed by Theblackworks. We can expect an explosion of creativity and colours. Next step for Yungg Zues in 2023, is his debut EP ‘Pure Magic’, which he is currently finalising. So we can rest assured, ‘Love Me’ is just the start for this talented and exceptional artist from the heart of Accra.
