Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame has pinned high-life singer, Kuami Eugene as the most “prominent Kwame of our time.”
According to the “Rap Dacta,” every generation came with a prominent Kwame and this generation’s “Kwame” is the “Open Gate” hitmaker.
Siting the likes of very prominent people in the country who bear/bore the name “Kwame,” and did/ are doing amazing in various fields, the Made in Ghana ambassador thinks Kuami Eugene has earned that right.
“Every generation has her KWAME. During independence we had KWAME Nkrumah, Highlife music had Nana KWAME Ampadu, business and investments have KWAME Despite, Media has KWAME Adinkra, Technology and engineering has KWAME Baah Achamfour, Hiplife has me, Okyeame KWAME and Modern Music has the ever talented, energetic and passionate artist KUAMI Eugene . This KWAME is the most prominent Kwame right now,” he captioned a photo of Kuami Eugene to promote his “Son of Africa” album.
