Wendy Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay is a Ghanaian musician who has been in the limelight in the Ghanaian Songstresses space for some time now.

The “Bedroom Commando” singer is signed to Ruff Town records music label. This is a popular label in Ghana which has signed several Ghanaian musicians, especially songstresses. The late Ebony reigns, who was making waves in the music scene was signed to this label before her untimely demise.

Ever since Wendy Shay got signed to Ruff Town records, people have tagged her a mimic, who is reportedly fond of simulating the style of the late Ebony Reigns.

Wendy has suffered trolls from social media users since she crowned herself Queen of Ghana music. That not enough, yesterday she was trending for having posted a picture where she appears to have posed and dressed like the late Ebony reigns.

“Dear Ebony, yesterday you trended in GH for the 1st time in a long while. Just because I posted a Pic, they said I look like you and I am copying you. They have no idea why that Look. Two singles from you were released after your untimely demise but no one pushed or gave attention to these amazing songs. Ebony x Wendy Shay on one song what do you guys think? Kindly use the same energy used in circulating my pic to push this song. Ebony lives on,” she captioned.
