D-Black reunites Afia Schwarzenegger and Delay on ‘Loyalty’ skit
Ghanaian rapper, D-Black is out with a new album, titled “Loyalty.”
Fans of the award-winning rapper are in for a treat when they realize that the intro to the album, is a skit which features former best friends, Delay and Afia Schwarzenegger.
According to D-Black, he wanted to seek for the definition of “Loyalty” from the two besties, who had no idea what his plans were for the project.
“Both people feel betrayed, and I wanted to have a conversation with them regarding loyalty in different aspects of their life- to see their take on loyalty,” D-Black explained.
In the skit, when asked about her take on Loyalty,. Afia Schwarzenegger opined;
“When we talk about loyalty in relationships, it is openness, communication…I will not go and hangout with your enemies…however, many people mistake slavery or any form of abuse as loyalty…The I am loyal to you means you should trust me and not ask me where I am. I have to tell you where I am myself,” she said.
When D-Black asked Delay about her take on the subject, she responded;
“I can be in a relationship with someone and still chat with someone who has an interest in me or even go out for dinner and lunch dates with the person and still be loyal to the person I am in a relationship with. But, if someone I am in a relationship with constantly chats with someone. And goes to lunch dates and dinner dates with the person, it is easy for me to consider my partner as not loyal. I know it is a bit unfair, but the world is an unfair place. I am a selfish person.”
Fans are hoping that this skit will go a long way to bring the two frenemies back together.
D-Black’s “Loyalty” album is out on all platforms.
