2019 EMY Africa Awards nominees announced

The EMY AFRICA AWARDS is a prestigious platform that celebrates, on or around Father’s Day, great achievements and the hard work of individuals who have kindled hope and progression in our society. It is in its fourth year and it was launched at the Movenpick Ambassador hotel on Thursday 23rd May 2019. At the Launch, this year’s categories and nominations were announced.

Sponsors and partners for the event were announced as well. It was a beautiful event that was telecasted live on television (Joy Prime TV). The beautiful event was attended celebrities and top media personalities.  The Ceo of EMY Africa Awards shared in his speech a number of remarkable collaborations that the EMY Awards has this year; The Royal Commonwealth Society and the Diaspora Affairs, Office of the President of Ghana.

The nominees for seven (7) categories were announced at the launch. 5 out of the categories will require both the faculty and public voting for winners. The breakdown is as follows (40% PUBLIC VOTE / 60% FACULTY VOTE).The five categories are
