Shatta Wale, three accomplices granted GH¢100,000 bail each

Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has been granted bail following his one week remand in the Ankaful Prison.

Shatta Wale and three other accomplices  were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, October 21, 2021, on their first appearance in court. They have since been granted bail GH C 100,000 each after their reappearance in court today, October, 26.

Shatta Wale was arrested on October 19, 2021, after faking a gunshot attack on him. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of the publication of false news and causing fear and panic

His accomplices, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator were also charged for abetment of crime. They also pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Their next hearing in court is slated for November, 9th.
