Watch: James Gardiner talks playing the role of “Kwame” in new Showmax original, Ghana Jollof
Ghanaian actor, James Gardiner, has landed himself a new role in a Showmax original series, titled “Ghana Jollof.”
“Ghana Jollof” according to James Gardiner, is a series based on all the drama that happens in Ghana. The show tells the story of two young Nigerians, Jasper (AMVCA winner Funnybone) and Romanus (AMAA nominee Akah Nnani), who move to Ghana to “jollof”.
Set in both Ghana and Nigeria, “Ghana Jollof” promises to bring out talents from both Nigeria and Ghana on a big screen.
Speaking in an interview with Ameyaw Debrah, James Gardiner, who plays the role of “Kwame” in the series, thinks this collaboration makes the series stronger because it is bringing the best of both worlds together.
The series features the some big names likes Joselyn Dumas, Kalybos, Mawuli Gavor aBuchi, Jacinta Ocansey, popular reality star Portia Freelove, and model and actress Brihanna Kinte.
Narrating his experience on the show, James stated that he was very much happy with the fact that actors were given the freedom to add their own spice to the scripts.
“Ghana Jollof” is showing exclusively on Showmax.
