On Ghana’s fifty-first Republic Day anniversary, July 1 there will be a delightful faceoff between some of the top artists from Ghana and Nigeria in an exciting concert dubbed ‘Ghana Meets Naija’. The anticipated mega jam at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre will include on the bill, Wande Coal, 2face Idibia, 9ice, J Martins, Sarkodie, 4×4, Ruff N Smooth, VIP, R2bees, Castro, Dr Cryme, Efya and others.

At a press conference in Accra, Kwabena ‘Bola Ray’ Anokye Adisi, CEO of Empire Entertainment, organisers of the event, promised that the showdown would be mind blowing and unprecedented. He also unveiled plans to stage the concert at the O2 Arena in UK in August, followed by the crowning ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ concert on October 1 in Nigeria to mark the country’s 51st Independence Day anniversary.
