There’s nothing wrong with artiste managers having affairs with female artistes – Adina

Lynx Entertainment signee, Adina Thembi has disclosed that there is nothing wrong with male artiste managers having sexual relationships with female artistes.

In an interview she had on Spice FM, she gave her opinion on the long running controversy over whether it is morally acceptable for a female artiste to have an affair with her male manager.

According to her, for as long as the two decides to be together, then no one should feel uncomfortable.

‘’There is nothing wrong as long as the artiste is not under age. If she is matured enough and the two of them understands that this is what they are doing and can separate that from their work and make sure they are successful then that is fine’’, she argued.

Adina also claimed that having a sexual relationship with your manager is not uncommon in the music industry, but the most important thing is that both the manager and the artiste must maintain a professional attitude and carry out their duties well in order to project their brands.

‘’If you are a professional and you know this is your job description, knowing that, day in day out this is what you supposed to do for the artiste, the artiste also understands that she is suppose to do music then that is fine. That is how it should work so any extra thing is extra. They (Sexual relationships) are all extracurricular activities’’, she stated further.
