Events Board: The Culture Forum holds Stakeholder Forum, May 7
The Ghana Culture Forum (GCF) is organising a Stakeholder Forum on “Transforming the Culture and Creative Arts Sector: Policies, Strategies and Initiatives” on Tuesday, 7th May, 2013 from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the National Theatre. The Forum, which is being organised in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, is in furtherance of the Ghana Culture Forum’s determination to place culture squarely on the National Development Agenda. The interaction at the Forum is aimed at seeking coherence in policies and actions and drawing the necessary synergies between culture and other sectors of national development Honourable Mr. P. V. Obeng, Senior Presidential Advisor and Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission is the Special Guest of Honour. The Forum will be followed by an Emporium of exhibitions and performances to contextualize the discussions from 1.00pm – 5.00pm on the same day. Participants at the Stakeholder Forum will include:
