Ghanaian actress and TV host, Ama K Abebrese rounded up several of her friends to donate blood to the Police Hospital in Accra on her birthday. According to Ama, she decided to mark her birthday giving blood to the hospital, after a doctor friend has painted the picture of the scarcity of blood in Ghana’s blood banks. She thus decided to get her ‘bold’ friends including her birthday-mate and publisher of Orijin Magazine, Archyn Brew-Butler, to give some blood to the hospital. ]]>
