Ama Governor Now a Certified Legal Professional

Ghanaian social media influencer, Ababio Elorm, popularly known as Ama Governor, has finally been called to the Ghana Bar.

Ama Governor was among over 150 new lawyers who were called to the Bar at the General Legal Council’s Enrollment of New Lawyers 2024 Mini Call, held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday, 31st May 2024.

It will be recalled that Ama Governor was previously declined the Professional Bar Call on two occasions due to her strong advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights in Ghana.

In a brief interview with 1957 news after the ceremony on Friday, she declined to speak to the media, stating that her lips are sealed.
