Ama K. Abrebrese announced as Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations IOM

Renowned British-Ghanaian actress, Ama K. Abebrese, has been appointed a National Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Alongside eight other ambassadors, she will actively support well-managed migration, shedding light on its positive role in global talent distribution. IOM Director-General Amy Pope expressed excitement about these influential figures contributing to initiatives that enhance the lives of migrants and advocate for humane migration practices.

Established in 1951, IOM holds a crucial role as an intergovernmental organization within the United Nations system.
