‘Akonoba’, the title song, is a mid-tempo track and the lyrics are neatly arranged with inspirational rhythms and good drumbeats, making the song standout in its era. Most of the songs on the album have mid-tempos with good traditional highlife beats. The instrumentation as well as the backing vocals makes the songs quite exceptional.
Abrantie Amakye Dede, whose lyrics are very educative, has groomed himself into a complete entertainer.It was amazing to see the huge crowd that greeted him at the venues where he exhibited his prowess as Ghana’s most acclaimed highlife musicians.
