Edge Media Group, organizers of the maiden rLG Accra Nightlife Awards, has announced nominations for the maiden edition of the awards and it includes a nod for www.ameyawdebrah.com, which was nominated in Best Nightlife Photographer Award. I guess trailing the stars in the night has not gone unnoticed. I hereby wish to thank the organizers for the nomination. A total of 22 categories and 110 nominees were rolled out to be included in the 2012 award scheme. According to Yaw Debrah, CEO of Edge Media Group, over 500 active consumers of the nightlife industry in Accra were contacted to select the said nominees. He said, “From an initial list of 20 nominees per category, the list was well screened down to five nominees per category. The main event is scheduled to take place on the 26th of January 2012 at the Event Haven inside the Accra Trade Fair Centre formerly called Plaice. Ghanaian phone manufacturing giant, rLG Communications is the headline sponsors of this year’s rLG Accra Nightlife Award. The main event is strictly by invitation.
