Anne Sophie Avé enskinned Queen Mother of Development of Bonobutu

French Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Anne Sophie Avé has been enskinned Queen Mother of Napoka Amaltinga Apoka (Mother of Development) of Bonobutu.

The affable Ms Avé was bestowed the honor by the Paramount Chief of Bolgatanga in a beautiful ceremony on Friday, June, 24.

 

The enskinnment took place whilst she was on tour in the region with her team as part of her ‘Meet and Connect’ initiative.

As part of the tour, she renovated the Upper East Museum and also met with the chiefs, Security personnel Students and people of the Bonobutu area.

In a Twitter post to share the news, Ms Avé expressed what an honor it was to be given the title.

“Thank you to the Paramount Chief of Bolgatanga for enskinning me a Queen Mother Napoka Amaltinga Apoka of Bonobutu. In Frafra it means Queen Mother of development (Nkɔsoɔ Hemaa). It is a huge Honour 🎖 I am deeply humbled,” she tweeted.
