233Connect, the organizers of the just ended Mario concert in Ghana, has facilitated a collabo between two of the artists on the bill of the concert.  The single features Ghana’s buzzing sensation, Atumpan and Angola’s Cabo Snoop.

233Connect footed the full cost of the recording of the single, Moyerh Africana including the studio and video sessions.

“This goes to affirm that 233Connect is not all about bringing down foreign artists but also, supporting local acts to grow. We are committed to offering Ghanaians an alternative in terms of entertainment and this among many others we will be doing in the near future, would prove why,” Obed Boafo, publicist of 233Connect said.

The single, which was leaked onto mainstream urban platforms earlier this week, was recorded at Star Productions’ Studios at Tema, hours after both performed at 233Connect’s musical concert held at the Dome of the AICC which also featured Mario, Shontelle, KAS and a host of other local acts.

Moyerh Africana, a Portuguese word meaning African Girls, is an up-tempo song with subtle traces of the Ghanaian folkloric instrumentation and indigenous Angolan Kuduro music – an eclectic, energetic and danceable genre, the type Cabo Snoop does.
