Dreamville’s Bas, delivers an irresistible set of amorous summer anthems on his new EP, [BUMP] Pick Me Up, out today via Dreamville/Interscope. The four-track project, which features Dreamville head J. Cole as well as hip-hop heavyweights Gunna and Lil Tjay, finds the rapper gliding over warm yet bumping production, each beat perfectly complementing Bas’ relaxed, melodic flows and passionate delivery.
[BUMP] Pick Me Up opens with the swaying and seductive thump of “Eyes on You”featuring vocals and production from Galimatias. The track is  a downtempo R&B suite with airy island vibes. The Paris-born, New York-raised artist tenderly raps to his desired romantic partner, promising tropical getaways forever. He then connects with Gunna for the glimmering yet knocking EP centerpiece, “Admire Her.” Ever the smooth-talker, Basfloats above bright keys and booming drums while praising the object of his affection.

The endlessly replayable EP also features the J. Cole and Lil Tjay-assisted lead single“The Jackie.” The single has garnered over 90 million global streams and landed at #10 on the urban radio charts. Inspired by New York’s Jackie Robinson Highway, the lovely ode to Bas and Lil Tjay’s hometown is perfect for the warm seasons approaching.
[BUMP] Pick Me Up closes with “The Others,” featuring Dreamville labelmate Ari Lennox, a tender and soulful ballad about overcoming the pain of past relationships. In typical Bas fashion, he makes even the heaviest topics feel lighter.
[BUMP] Pick Me Up arrives on the heels of Dreamville’s March surprise project, D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape where Bas was featured on two tracks “Lifestyle” & “Jozi Flows”. The rapper also recently thrilled crowds at Dreamville Festival 2022 (which had over 80,000 attendees) and will continue to pop up at various festivals throughout 2022.
As seasons change and temperatures rise, Bas’ star-studded [BUMP] Pick Me Up is essential listening for music lovers everywhere.
