There is a popular argument that music can actually raise and quell every passion. This assertion simply implies that music has the pathos to affect all our senses. So whether you find yourself in the farm, driving on your way home or even during a procedure at the theatre, you can actually listen to music.
Music is just an integral part of life, period! However choral music seems to pervade all spheres of our culture as well. Simply put, in Ghana, choral songs are becoming part of the nation’s identity.
In lieu of this, The Bliss Choir, Ghana joined the choral campaign and has been singing remotely for more than five years.
This group actually started somewhere in Winneba in the central region of Ghana, singing at prisons, homes, radio stations, hospitals and geriatric patients. The choir’s motto as ‘Honour to God’ is dedicated to all listeners in order to shape their attitudes to the level that will bring honour to the Creator.
Besides, the Bliss Choir has put together four live recording albums, of which three are scattered across all digital platforms including iTunes and Audiomack as exemplified below:
Though Bliss may not be your regular group on the big stages or screens, offering social services is still the choir’s hallmark unto this day. This humble choir envisions to be one of the leading choirs in the country and beyond that provides services that support all needs, especially campaigns that targets the vulnerable, weak and destitute in society.
In a nutshell, the need has come to extend services to the public, at the beck and call of all.
