This partnership with Boomplay follows the unique relationship between the two brands towards supporting the music ecosystem and Boomplay’s reaffirmed commitment targeted at the growth and development of Ghanaian music. It will be recalled that at last year’s edition of the awards, Boomplay powered the Leaders of the New School performance productions and sponsored the Breakthrough Act of the Year category won by Mr Drew.

“Boomplay continues to be an ally for 3Music Awards and we are excited that in our 5th year, we still get to partner with them for the 2022 edition. They were pivotal in the memorable edition of the awards last year by highlighting their support for the emerging artistes particularly the Breakthrough Act of the Year. This year they are focusing on three top categories and we couldn’t be more excited about what is in store for the winners and fans. ” Sadiq Abdulai Abu, CEO of 3Media Networks, organisers of the awards explained.
