The Indigen Theatre Company, a new entity that seeks to bring the wonder of musical theatre to life within a Ghanaian context,  is staging its inaugural production ‘Born For This’, an original musical by Vako Tamaklo.

‘Born For This’ links the stories of three dominant Bible Characters- Ruth, David and Esther- in a fresh new way, bringing their journeys to life through the colour of music, dance and prose, and resonating the deepest cry of the human soul; Why Am I here? You are here for a purpose. You were made to fulfill destiny. You are’ Born For This’!

The event will take place on August 19 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at 7pm. The Performing Arts, music and theatre have become synonymous with good entertainment, to a wider Ghanaian audience. Well thought through, planned and executed shows are appreciated more and more and that is what Indigen seeks to maintain.
