Cardi B postpones concert over plastic surgery complications

American rapper Cardi B is postponing more concerts amid reports of health concerns.

The “I Like It” rapper postponed a concert in El Paso, Texas, on (Tuesday, May 21),  KVIA-TV report says. According to TMZ, Cardi B also rescheduled a performance scheduled for Friday, May 24, in Baltimore, Maryland, for September 8.

The rescheduled tour dates come a day after Cardi also postponed shows in Syracuse and Saratoga Springs this weekend. She’ll perform at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview on Sept. 7, and at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on Sept. 6.

TMZ reports the reason is health concerns after the rapper suffered complications from recent plastic surgery procedures. she has openly spoken about getting liposuction and breast augmentation after giving birth to her first child with her husband, Offset, and recently told a crowd in Memphis she should’ve canceled a May 5 concert because “moving too much is going to f— up my lipo.”

Sources tell TMZ that the surgeries and heavy workload are “too much, too soon.” Doctors are recommending several weeks of rest; it’s unclear if other shows in June or later will be affected.
