Chairman Wontumi gets court to issue bench warrant against Afia Schwar; McBrown and others fined 60,000 each
The Tema High Court has reportedly issued a bench warrant for contempt against Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger and Emmanuel Barnes known widely as Mr Logic.
The two had made comments on the United Showbiz Show hosted by Nana Ama McBrown regarding the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi.
According to Chairman Wontumi, in an interview with GhanaWeb, the High Court issued a bench warrant against Afia Schwarzenegger and Mr Logic following a sitting on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Host of the show where said comments were made, Nana Ama McBrown, Fadda Dickson, the Managing Director of Despite Media and the show’s Executive Producer, and A Plus, regular panelist on the show are reported to have also been fined GH$60,000 each.
Chairman Wontumi dragged Afia Schwarzenegger to court after she alleged on the United Showbiz show that she had been in a romantic affair with the politician.
