<![CDATA[The fifth edition of Sarkodie’s annual Christmas concert, Rapperholic Concert came off at the Accra International Conference Centre on Monday, and as expected it was a sold out show! The late start of the event as well as issues with security and seating were initial issues most concert-goers faced but when the music started playing, the crowd forgot it all and started jamming along. Back-to-back, several up and coming acts as well as the more established ones mounted the stage to perform while the expectant SarkNation fans waited to see Sarkodie. One thing that appeared common with most of the supporting acts was a desire to show of their underwear and flat abs. There was plenty of that from Kwesi Arthur and his clique, 2-Fingers, the dancers and even some folks in the crowd! While others preferred to be topless, some wanted to hide their identities. Mugeez of R2bees performed in a mask while Epixode came dressed as a clown. Epixode later joined the topless gang, so became a topless clown showing off his ubiquitous false tattoos. Other highlights from the night included a surprise performance from Big Shaq (Michael Dapaah) who seemed reluctant to perform when Sarkodie called him from his seat onto the stage. Other acts such as Korede Bello, Article Wan, Captain Planet, Yaa pono, Magnom, Joey B, Jayso, Worlasi, Obrafour, Efya, Becca, Akwaboah, Donzy, Strongman, Adina and TeePhlow all hit the stage to perform at one point, either by themselves of with Sarkodie. Sarkodie also placed the spotlight on three female rappers Feli Nuna, Eno and Freda Rhymes, when they performed in a short cypher on stage. Sarkodie on his part, gave fans just what they had come to see, as he performed his old hits and new songs back-to-back. The show was hosted by Shatta Wale and Joey Folley with support from other MCs such as OgeeTheMC and Kojo Manuel. ]]>
